She was trying to help the people save some money. She would give the noodles to them when Jing Zhichen arrived with the stock, but they did not welcome her help. They even asked her to mind her own business and scolded her for being meddlesome.

Surely, Ye Tianxin would not stand for it. She felt indignant.

She knew there would be people mocking her stupidity for refunding them, but what else could she do?

As long as she was happy spending the money as she pleased, that was the value of money to her.

Those who received the refund from Ye Tianxin were baffled. It did not seem like a good deal after all. They still did not manage to get any food and now, they were not allowed to buy from her.

Ye Tianxin didn't bother with them. She motioned to the rest of the crowd to buy the noodles from Jing Zhichen.

There were all sorts of basic foodstuff for sale such as noodles, milk, and water. They were priced at the same price as the supermarkets.

They were happy that they benefited from their purchases.

Compared to the noodles from the shop costing fifty dollars, they had gotten an amazing deal.

Ye Tianxin and Li Qingcang stood aside and merely observed the crowd.

After making sure everything was in order, they then walked out of the waiting area of the train station, hand in hand.

Ye Tianxin said to Li Qingcang in a soft voice, "Qingcang, I think I'm being too naive. I thought I was doing a good deed but I realized that that was not the case. These people did not think so because they did not expect me to have good intentions."

She was hurt when the crowd scolded her for being interfering.

She felt that she was a little too sensitive to feel this way.

Li Qingcang grabbed Ye Tianxin's hands tightly and assured her. "No, Tianxin, you managed this very well. You meant well; you didn't want them to be cheated by the evil businessmen. Still, you need to understand that humans have the weaknesses too."

"Hence, we shouldn't test humanity in any case."

Ye Tianxin quipped and Li Qingcang nodded in agreement.

"Were you joking when you said you won't sell to those people?"

"Yes. I honestly feel bad for these people. I realize that they were willing to buy the noodles at such a high price because of their children but couldn't bear to buy any for themselves."

Li Qingcang suddenly hugged Tianxin, grasping her waist as she rested her head on his chest.

She had such a good heart.

"Tianxin, you are really very kind-hearted."

Li Qingcang's eyes reddened. He hugged Ye Tianxin closely.

Ye Tianxin giggled.

"Qingcang, you just realized that?"

"Let's go find brother-in-law and the rest."

"All right."

Just as both of them wanted to make their way, they were surrounded by a group of hooligans. A bald man shouted out to the couple.

"Hey, you! How dare you hit my sister? Do you want to die? Do you know whose territory is this?"

The hooligans were all carrying weapons.

The fat woman stood beside the bald man with her arms folded.

Ye Tianxin shrugged her shoulders. She seemed resigned; some people were just idiots.

Why did they want to cause trouble instead of leading a simple life?

She really was not adept at fighting.

She was only a young princess. Why would she want to fight like a brute?
