When Ye Tianxin heard that, she stretched out her hand to touch the crown on her head. She thought to herself that at least one person thought the same thing as her. It also seemed unreal when she first saw the crown Shi Han had given her.1

However, the crown wasn't the issue.

Why did she say that people from the Empire could not afford to eat eggs or have tall buildings? Why did she say that the Empire's ladies still had bound feet? Did they know what the Empire was like today?

Ye Tianxin used her hand to prop her chin up and smiled sweetly at Lira.

"Ms. Lira, are you done?"

Lira snorted. "Is there a problem? I'm just being honest. I have no idea how someone like you can sneak into our banquet. Your appearance made our banquet look so shabby."

Only Ye Tianxin could see the truth; all the other girls were too blind to see it.

They immediately formed an alliance with each other and berated Ye Tianxin.

"Ye Tianxin, do you think putting 'Princess' in front of your name makes you true royalty?"

Ye Tianxin was kept in the observation room for so many days that she was already bored to death. She had been itching for some action.

She silently thanked Shi Han for giving her the opportunity to relieve her boredom.

"You're Anna, right? I should correct you on something. I'm not just a princess by name. I have a real crown on my head. You don't have a crown like this, right?"

Anna was shocked by Ye Tianxin's retort while Lira raised her voice. "It's only a crown. What's there to show off? You're nothing but a country bumpkin!"

Ye Tianxin pitied her. She then looked at Lira with a very grim expression. "Ms. Lira, I don't know where you heard such bold claims. You said that our people cannot afford to buy eggs or construct tall buildings. You said that our women bind their feet. You don't even know if these statements are true, but you still decide to say them. This only shows how ignorant you truly are. I hear that your father wants to build a hotel in the Empire, but aren't you making him look bad with such rumors? If your father wants to build a hotel in our country, don't you think that his staff would have visited the Empire to do their research?"

When Lira heard what Ye Tianxin said, she was even more furious. She yelled angrily at her, "Shut up! Why would my father want to build a hotel in the Empire? Who would want to live in such a poor country like that?"
