The press conference hall was filled to the brim with the overwhelming crowd. Countless cameras and filming equipment were stationed in the back row of the press gallery, while reporters from various countries have already settled down in place.2

Laptops and cellphones were placed on the desks in front of the reporters to allow for the fastest possible conveyance of first-hand information from the interview to the headquarters.

With her petite high heels, Ye Tianxin made her way steadily onto the stage. Her makeup today was cheerful and captivating, giving her a confident and gracious appearance. She appeared as though she had just stepped out of a picture the instant she took the stage.

Ye Tianxin opened the documents she had prepared and said solemnly to the reporters, "We meet again, fellow journalists. The news that a local fishing boat has collapsed on our national seas is the subject of today's press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our maritime rescue crew is on its way to the location to help our fishermen. Every single one of our country's fishermen is Empire's most valuable asset. Empire's citizens strive for peace and have no desire to fight, yet this does not mean that they are timid, cowardly, or fearful of suffering. Empire's citizens all have heated blood coursing through their veins..."

Ye Tianxin's voice was sonorous and powerful. As she said those words, a couple of reporters looked at the reporter from Country R with curious eyes. The reporter from Country R inhaled sharply as he wondered why these people looking at him.

The fact that the fishermen's boat had crashed was unavoidable. There was clearly a need for rescue now that something so horrible had transpired. The Empire Marine Rescue Team, on the other hand, had a wealth of expertise with sea rescue missions and would undoubtedly be able to save the fisherman who had fallen into the water shortly.

"We will now be taking questions."

The reporter from Country R raised his hand and asked, "Ye Tianxin, in regards to this fishing boat crash, was it because the quality of your country's fishing boat isn't up to standards?"

Ye Tianxin took out a piece of information on the fishing boat, and she calmly said to the Country R reporter, "Please have a look at the screen. This is a photo that was specifically taken when our country's fishing boat entered the sea. The fishing boat had only recently been procured and has been in use for less than half a year. This is a record of every maintenance done for the fishing boat. It is clearly and thoroughly recorded each time by the technician and supervisors carrying out the inspections. This encounter was nothing more but an accident, and has nothing to do with the quality of the fishing boat itself."

The reporter from Country R cleared his throat and asked again, "If the fishermen are not rescued within the 48-hour period, which is known as the golden hour for rescue, does that mean the fishermen will inevitably become shark food?"

Ye Tianxin took a deep breath, then looked at the reporter from Country R with a solemn expression, and spoke in a reasonable and restrained manner, "Our marine rescue team is currently carrying out an emergency rescue as we speak, which means there will be news soon. Of course, as we all know, it is imperative not to let the sharks smell or see even a drop of blood, as even the slightest scent of it can make sharks swarm in a frenzy. I believe all citizens of Empire are praying."

The reporter from Country R asked again, "Will your country ask for rescue support from our country?

"If necessary, the Maritime Safety Administration will apply to the relevant authority."

When Ye Tianxin watched the video footage for the first time, she was terrified. The fishing boat was entirely destroyed when they crashed, which meant saving the lives of the fishermen was now the top priority of the nation.

Fortunately, the maritime rescue squad was nearby and responded swiftly. Ye Tianxin had faith that the professional marine rescue team would be able to complete the mission in the shortest possible time, simply because they were the best.
