Chapter 39 "Sleeping Together"

The atmosphere inside the cave turned ambiguous. Jiu Wei was thinking hard how to solve this problem when he suddenly got an inspiration.1

"Ah. How about your highness sleep together with her highness?" Jiu Wei mind was brimming with confidence. Since Long Ao Zhen and the girl was married then it shouldn't be a problem for the two of them to share a bed.

Jiu Wei suggestion was actually really good but for a certain prince, that was courting death.

Long Ao Zhen hold back his desire to stamped on Jiu Wei foot with an awkward cough.

He couldn't said no to Jiu Wei suggestion as Jiu Wei was indeed right. As a husband and wife it was normal for the two of them to sleep on the same bed.

Still, Long Ao Zhen searched for a reason to not sleep right next to Li Shi Ying. It wasn't because he was disgusted, but rather his poor little heart probably won't survive till morning if he really should sleep on the same bed with her.

"mm good idea. But will i disturb her recupation? i don't want to see her hurt" Long Ao Zhen used all his might to acted as a 'caring' husband and made his face turned a little solemn.

The expression on his face shown a look of a husband eager to accompany her wife but was afraid to hurt her little delicate health.

Jiu Wei was really touched by Long Ao Zhen 'cheap' acting and he thought in his mind that his highness was really a good man!

"No no no don't worry your highness. Sharing a bed with her highness will not disturb her rest. On the other hand it will help her highness to feel a little more warm since her highness body might feel cold later due to her highness current weak physique" Jiu Wei wasted a lot of saliva to convince Long Ao Zhen to sleep with Li Shi Ying tonight.

With Jiu Wei complete reasoning and reassurance, how could Long Ao Zhen refuses any further? Long Ao Zhen could only silently gritted his teeth.

Fine it is! Sleep then sleep. What's so difficult about it?

And so Long Ao Zhen gradually accepted his fate. Jiu Wei as a 'tactful' man, i mean fox, silently leave Long Ao Zhen and Li Shi Ying alone to have a good husband and wife quality time. Even though it was only a genuie sleeping together with no other extra midnight exercise.

Shortly after Jiu Wei left, Long Ao Zhen finally couldn't hold on to his 'i am perfectly fine' face and so his cheek began to blushed red from his face, his cheek, his neck up till his ear.

Long Ao Zhen glanced with the corner of his eyes to the still-sleeping Li Shi Ying.

Just seeing her peaceful face, Long Ao Zhen immediately recalled his first encounter with his 'wife' which would always be the biggest shame in his life.

Long Ao Zhen adam apple moved and he gulped his saliva. He suddenly felt like his throat was dry all of sudden.

But fortunately Long Ao Zhen snapped from his already corrupted thought. Long Ao Zhen angrily slapped his own cheek.

How could he have an impure thought about her?? Ying'er was still sick!! No no no he was definetely not that pervert.

He was just a littleeee yeap only a little bit nervous because it will was going to be his first time sharing a bed with a woman.

Long Ao Zhen calmed his thought and steeled his heart. Right just thought that he was merely sleeping with a little bunny. A harmless looking bunny.

But....bunny is cute...fluffy...and he couldn't help to rubbed their head. Yeah Long Ao Zhen actually love cute animal like cat,bunny,squirrel,sheep,etc.

Well but he didn't like cute things for women though~

Then Long Ao Zhen changed his strategy. Instead of thinking Li Shi Ying as a cute bunny, wasn't it better to think that the bed was a battlefield he must face bravely? With that thought in mind, he wouldn't feel nervous anymore!

Hahaha battle maniac detected. Such a complicated character! Love cute animal but also a battle maniac. Cold hearted but warm and thoughtful at the same time. Cold-blooded and ruthless but gentle to his beloved family. Looks like an overbearing president but actually pure and innocent inside.

What a perfect tsundere.

Long Ao Zhen after sorting out his mind, walked toward the bed with a super stiff robot-like movement. He didn't even realize that his leg and his hand moved forward at the same time creating a really funny scene.

Long Ao Zhen eyes flashed with determination. His entire aura changed into a fierce one. He looked like someone who was going to to face a great world war ahead.

Is Li Shi Ying bed really looked like a battlefield to him?
