Jiu Wei coughed once and signaled the noisy beasts below. With a single cough, the entire mass quieted down and listened well to their leader.1

Jiu Wei then looked toward Shi Ying and began to explained some things. "This...the truth is that when you have fever, somehow you also gained an ability."

Jiu Wei word was straight to the point that Li Shi Ying felt like he was throwing a bomb out of nowhere.

WHAT?? She did gain a cheat afterall?? How could she didn't know about it? Wait wait that wasn't the point. At least...heaven wasn't that cruel to her...she was given a cheat! Hurrahh!!

Li Shi Ying quickly calmed her stormy feeling and asked Jiu Wei with a calm face "Oh....what is it?"

"Ehem. It is...to make any spiritual beast above mythological beast like you" Jiu Wei created a good lie for Li Shi Ying. The truth was that the so-called ability was only there because of the dragon seal.

Plus Jiu Wei was confident that once those beasts knew that Li Shi Ying could talk in beast languange, they wouldn't hesitate any longer to bow down and thrown themself to her arm.

Ok go back to Shi Ying mind. She was....dumbfounded. She thought that the ability was like a rare talent in cultivation or something but...she surprisingly got herself a mary sue halo beast version!

Does this mean that every spiritual beast would throw themself at her and wag their tail like a dog every time they meet her?

Wouldn't that be..funny...? Yeah even though it was nice to have a powerful beast as your companion but...isn't that a little too....weird?

If she got a mary sue halo local tyrant version then she could just sit down and watch as her group of 'overbearing male lead' beat up everyone for her.

Jiu Wei smiled and nodded before delivering his intention to Shi Ying. "Nah because of your ability, these beasts in front of you want to be your protector. You should choose some but i suggest you to choose 10 divine beasts and 2 high ranked beast"

Li Shi Ying finally knew why Jiu Wei brought her here. But...she couldn't contracted them right? She didn't have cultivation energy after all.

"This...is nice but i can't contract them right..." Li Shi Ying showed a pained expression on her face.

Seeing their mistress-to-be was sad, those spiritual beasts down there had the urge to hug her and patted her head.

"Don't worry. Your ability...a unique beast tamer will make them voluntary follow you even if they're not your contracted beast"

Jiu Wei also had the urge to patted Shi Ying head but he was in his human form now and he was afraid that Long Ao Zhen would cut his hand if he dare to patted his wife head, so he refrained himself.

"Ah? is that so?? isn't that good then..." Li Shi Ying immediately cheered up and her eyes flashed with cunning light.

Just now she tested wether her ability as a mary sue beast ver was true or not by purposely showing a 'pained' expression on her face. From the edge of her eyes she could saw that many beasts down there was flustered and some even moved forward with a worried face.

So...it was true that she...became a mary sue beast version....

Li Shi Ying had the urge to cry but she shouldn't be that ungrateful. Gaining this weird ability was better then having nothing right?? Just be grateful and accept it!

Li Shi Ying nodded her head as she began to thought which beast should she choose. First of all carrying 10 divine beasts and 2 high ranked beast all over would be very eye-catching...so she should made them disguise as a tool.

Just...what kind of tool should she have...

After thinking for a while, Li Shi Ying decided to pick divine beasts who could transform into these things. Woman or man hairpin, ring/bracelet, jade pendant, veil, cloak, or something like a fan, a wallet or a purse was also right.

That way she could use it on her body and it wouldn't be suspicious. She would put 5 divine beasts on Jiu Wei body and 5 on her body. As for high ranked beast she should looked for the one who could reduce their size into a normal-looking pet!
