Li Shi Ying stole a glance to Gu Zhong and her other beasts who were searching the place to find any sign of cloud plant and couldn't help but shook her head.

This temple looked like an abandoned temple or a temple which was raided by others. Could it be someone attacked the temple and kidnapped the sacred beast? Impossible though.

Li Shi Ying turned her head to the empty display table and sighed. As she looked for the cloud plant, Li Shi Ying casually caressed the smooth glistening table with a thought. Forget about the first two questions. She was still bothered by one last question ever since she stepped to this temple.

The last but not least...she clearly saw someone enter this temple but where is this person now?? Could it be the person was hiding somewhere in the dark area untouched by the sunlight?

Okay so this stranger took her to be his hostage for no reason at all but why is that she didn't feel any danger coming from this man at all? On the other hand, she had a feeling that this man did this to protect himself?

"Em…" Li Shi Ying tried to talk to the man who suddenly hooked his arm around her neck clearly afraid that she would escape. Let's talk first, this man didn't seem bad since he didn't immediately kill her on the spot with his surprise attack.

The man's body jolted when he heard Li Shi Ying's voice. He paused for a bit before slowly releasing Li Shi Ying as if he never does anything to her before, sending a shock to all the people in the temple.

Jiu Wei and the other three beasts all had their jaw dropped to the floor while Gu Zhong eyes widened almost making his eyes popped out from its place. 

Why the hell this strange man suddenly release Li Shi Ying?! Just what's going on?? 

"I'm sorry I'm too panicked, Li Shi Ying" The man chuckled as he stepped out from the dark area to the place touched by sunlight. The moment Li Shi Ying hear this clear voice, the girl quickly turned her head around and the man's face she saw was enough to almost make her faint on the spot.

"T-thén Sin Lung?!" Li Shi Ying jerked back as she instantly avoided the man like a plague. The other people in the temple still didn't know who is the man aside from Li Shi Ying herself.

How could she didn't recognize this face? Even when she died she would always remember the face of the man who betrayed her. But this man...why the hell he was in this world?! Did he transmigrate too? How the hell he ended up in the Griffin Temple just like her?
