"H-hey...why am I a meanie ah...there there stop crying, okay? I won't go anywhere…" Jiu Wei spoke in a soft voice as he stroked Baihu Sei's head with his right hand. 

The man really didn't know why Baihu Sei would suddenly cry and cursed him for being a meanie. Why?? Didn't he bring good news? Why the hell Sei hit him instead? 

Baihu Sei was still sobbing while burying her face to Jiu Wei's chest but then hearing Jiu Wei's comfort, she slowly stopped crying. The girl was weeping as she said in a hoarse voice, "I...I thought you won't succeed…" she paused, "S-so I...I…" 

Baihu Sei couldn't continue her words. Tears choked her words preventing her from finishing what she really wanted to say. Even though from outside she looked like a tough girl, in fact, she's still as fragile as before.

"Yes, yes it's my fault I suddenly tell you the good news…" Jiu Wei coaxed Baihu Sei using a very soft voice akin to a sweet husband. His lukewarm comfort made Baihu Sei couldn't help but want to cry again. 

She loved this man for 3000 years and finally, she could be with him. How could she didn't cry then? 

"Mn...it's your fault! You make me cry…" Baihu Sei rubbed her cheek to Jiu Wei's chest as she protested like a maiden in love. The woman was already 40 years old or more but right now she looked like someone in her teens. 

Jiu Wei really had to laugh seeing his future wife's childish behaviour. Still, he liked it that his wife acted spoiled. 

"Sorry, sorry, what can I do to redeem myself then, my princess?" Jiu Wei laughed faintly as he tucked Baihu Sei's hair behind her ear, instantly made the woman's face turned bright red. Her face was still buried at Jiu Wei's embrace so no one saw her red face but Jiu Wei saw Baihu Sei's ear reddened. 

This cute sight made him want to eat his wife. He had the urge to bit her red ear ah. So tempting. 

Baihu Sei didn't answer and only shook her head, trying to hide her embarrassment but then Jiu Wei whispered in a deep, seducing voice, "How about I compensate you...tonight?" he blew hot air to the woman's ear, "At the bed, hm?" 

His flirtatious tone of voice coupled with his enchanting, deep voice sent a shiver down Baihu Sei's spine. 

The woman swiftly tried to push Jiu Wei away but the man's hand around her waist refused to let go. Baihu Sei clearly was stronger than Jiu Wei but at this moment she felt all her energy left her body. Even her legs already turned into a jelly. 

"Y-you!!" Baihu Sei punched Jiu Wei's chest lightly as she glared at him with her reddened eyes. There's a trace of tears on her cheek but her eyes still looked as energetic as ever. 

Seeing his little tiger was mad at him, Jiu Wei couldn't help but laugh out loud. 

"Hahaha! Ahhh Sei, why are you so cute??" Jiu Wei hugged the woman tighter than before as he buried his head to her neck.
