"And Jing Ruyue, do you take Helian Wei for your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"

"I do," Jing Ruyue replied as she looked at Helian Wei.

"Then, in the name of the Holy Spirit, I now solemnly declare you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," the priest concluded.

Helian Wei looked at Jing Ruyue affectionately. It was as if time had stopped for them as everything they'd been through flashed before them.

They had been separated from each other for more than 20 years, and they'd finally made it.

It was hard-earned happiness.

Helian Wei held Jing Ruyue's face softly and kissed her.

Tears couldn't help but roll down their faces when they kissed.
