A Chance Encounter

Banshan Villa Region, Dongcheng District of Hengyuan City1

There were only two buildings situated in this area. Both were of classical design and had grand appearances. One of these buildings belonged to the Yu family and the other one belonged to the Jian family.

These two families were two of the largest and most prominent families in Hengyuan City. Both families had a long-standing history.

At the current moment, there was a minor car accident that occurred on the road in front of the two villas. One vehicle had rear-ended the other.

No one was injured. However, the entire road was blocked as a result.

This blocked the path of Grandma Jian and Jian Yiling who were trying to get back home.

As there was not much distance between where they were to the house, Grandma Jian decided to walk the rest of the way.

When Jian Yiling passed the site of the accident, she saw that the collision was between two sports cars.

The vehicle at the front was green in color whilst the vehicle at the back was red.

Currently, the driver of the green sports car was leaning against the window. His movements were languid and laid-back.

At first glance, she didn't see the man's face. Jian Yiling only thought that the man was tall and slim.

Furthermore, he wasn't wearing his clothes properly. Several buttons were left unbuttoned.

The man turned around as he felt someone's gaze on him. His eyes met Jian Yiling's eyes.

It was him!

Jian Yiling recognized the man in an instant. It was the man that was hungry in the hospital corridor the other day!

As Zhai Yunsheng looked at Jian Yiling, the corners of his lips became upturned.

It was clear that he also remembered Jian Yiling.

Jian Yiling quickly looked away.

Yu Xi walked over and found that Zhai Yunsheng was looking at something or someone in fascination. Thus, he followed Zhai Yunsheng's gaze.

What was Master Sheng looking at them for?

Zhai Yunsheng kept looking in the direction of Grandma Jian and Jian Yiling till they entered the house.

Yu Xi was quite curious. "Is there a problem with Grandma Jian and Miss Jian?"

"Miss Jian?" Zhai Yunsheng asked as he raised his eyebrows. The corner of his lips became more upturned.

"Yeah, it's Jian Yiling. The only daughter of the Jian family. You might not know but the Jian family has had eight sons in the past three generations. She's the only daughter! And as a result, she is spoilt by the whole family. Grandma Jian is incredibly afraid of losing her!"

As a friend of the family, Yu Xi knew quite a bit about the situation of the Jian family.

"Let's go visit the old man of the Jian family," Zhai Yunsheng suddenly said.

"What?" Yu Xi asked in shock. Visit the old man of the Jian family?

Did Master Sheng say that he was going to visit Grandpa Jian?

Zhai Yunsheng looked at the driver who had rear-ended the car.

His gaze was so frightening that the other guy quivered in fear.

The man who had rear-ended the vehicle was in his twenties. He had tattoos on his arms and appeared to look like a very fierce person. However, at this current moment, he was terrified.

This man was the only son of the director of a real estate company in Hengyuan City.

After he rear-ended the vehicle, he had called the traffic police thinking that the police would support him due to his family background.

However, he had dug himself a grave. And quite a big grave to say the least!

Once he knew that the person driving was Zhai Yunsheng, he had instantly regretted his decision to call the police.

Now, all he wanted was to deal with the matter in private!

He would pay with any sum requested!

He didn't dare to waste any of Master Sheng's time!
