After Jian Yunmo finished his speech, he did not go backstage. Instead, he walked off the stage and walked straight up to Jian Yiling.1

When he was on the stage, he had already scouted for Jian Yiling's position amongst the audience.

"Yiling," Jian Yunmo called out to her. The smile on his face was much softer than the smile that he had on his face when he was on stage.

Jian Yunmo then pulled out a transparent plastic box from the pocket of his coat. The box contained a small dessert.

When Wen Nuan saw the dessert, she glared at him angrily.

Ever since Jian Yiling was young, Wen Nuan had been worried that it would be bad for her child to eat too many sweets. Due to this reason, she had set a limit of 200 grams of candy and sweet treats per week.

However, two of her sons were always spoiling Yiling with sweets.

Whenever she found out that her sons were smuggling sweets for Yiling, she could do nothing. She was angry yet helpless. The only thing that she could do was to glare at them.

And now, they had gotten used to her glares. Those angry glares were no longer effective.

"Yunmo, how did this happen?" Jian Shuxing asked. He was as curious as everyone else in the audience.

Four members of the Jian family all looked at Jian Yunmo. They waited for his answer and explanation.

He Yan's heart felt incredibly sour. It was as though her heart had rolled through a sour sea.

Jian Yunmo smiled before he said: "Master Liang had contacted me. I took a look at the project and realized that it was rather related to what I'm doing right now. Since I'm back in China, it was possible for me to take on the project as well. However, the technical problems that Master Liang mentioned were not all completed by me. In all honesty, before I received the project, most of the problems had been solved already."

Jian Yunmo had been confused by this. Many of the tricky problems had been solved already. He could not understand why only a bit had been left over. The person who had solved those problems could have easily completed the project.

However, Master Liang had told him that he was the only one who could complete the project. He could not find any other experts that were available in this field of work.

Jian Yiling was sitting down in a nearby seat. She was taking small bites out of the dessert that Jian Yunmo had brought her.

She looked as though she had nothing to do with this.

Suddenly, her mobile phone vibrated. She looked at the message. It was from Master Liang.

[Are you satisfied?]

[Yes.]

[Let's work together next time?]

[I'll see.]

Jian Yiling still sent messages in the same way. Cold and concise.

Master Liang looked at his phone and smiled.

The brother was undoubtedly a genius.

However, the sister was even better than that.

At the end of the launch, Qin Shixuan walked over to talk to Jian Yunmo.

Even Qin Yufan came along with Qin Shixuan.

"Mr. Yunmo, do you happen to have any plans for the future?"

It was obvious that Qin Shixuan had a keen interest in Jian Yunmo.

Jian Yiling had good prospects for the future. On the other hand, Jian Yunmo was a ready-made talent that he could recruit.

"Sorry, I don't have any plans yet. My sister may have plans to go somewhere in the near future. If that's the case, I plan to accompany her. Due to this reason, I don't have any set plans for the time being."

This was the first time that Jian Shuxing and Wen Nuan heard that Jian Yiling was going on a trip.

Yiling hadn't ever gone anywhere by herself. The last time she went on a trip, it was with them.

Then where was she going this time with Jian Yunmo?

Upon hearing this, Qin Yufan's expression changed.

This was because she had recently found out that Zhai Yunsheng was also going on a trip.

Whenever Zhai Yunsheng was going somewhere, the Zhai family would make a lot of noise about it. Due to this reason, Qin Yufan had heard about the news.

Was it a coincidence? Did the two of them somehow plan to have a trip during the same time frame?

Then, more people came over to greet Jian Yunmo.

"Mr. Yunmo, this is my business card. If you don't have any other plans, please consider our company."

"Hello, would you be interested in biomedicine? Our company has been exploring this field recently."

"Mr. Yunmo…"

Jian Yunmo lowered his head and whispered into Jian Yiling's ear: "I find them rather bothersome. Why don't we run off together?"
