"Wait, didn't we agree to talk about this project today?"

"I made an appointment with Elder Zhang today. I didn't make an appointment with you. Did you perhaps misunderstand something?" Qin Chuan replied. He also came back to his senses. It seemed as though Wei Qirui had mistaken him for someone else.

Wei Qirui froze for a moment before he turned his head to look at Zhang Xuming.

Zhang Xuming, on the other hand, had a smile on his face: "Mr. Qin Chuan is my guest."

The expression on Wei Qirui's face made it seem like he swallowed a fly: "Is he not your chosen successor?"

Zhang Xuming shook his head.
