Even the chair that Jian Yiling was previously sitting on got moved out of the house.1

These items and the whole Zhai Residence would be auctioned off shortly. 

"Let's go," Jian Yiling said as she put away the book in her hand.

Upon hearing this, Yu Xi frowned. There was a reluctant expression on his face.

As the two of them walked to the front door of the Zhai Residence, they saw Qin Chuan standing at the entrance.

This was no coincidence. Qin Chuan had come here to look for Jian Yiling.

He was standing next to the black Rolls Royce and wearing an all-black suit. The look on his face was majestic and cold.

When his eyes fell on Jian Yiling, the look in his eyes became complicated.

On the other hand, Jian Yiling's expression was as cold as ever.

Her eyes paused on Qin Chuan for a moment before she looked away.

It was as though she didn't even see him. Instead, she walked toward her car.

Qin Chuan and Jian Yiling were not unfamiliar with the situation.

"You still have the chance to choose again." Qin Chuan said to Jian Yiling.

Upon hearing this, Jian Yiling's footsteps paused for a moment.

She turned around to look at him before she replied in a soft but firm voice: "I've already chosen." 

Then, Jian Yiling continued to walk toward her car at a firm pace.

After getting into the backseat with Yu Xi, the car drove off. Jian Yiling did not even look back. She did not care about Qin Chuan who had been waiting to talk to her for quite some time. 

Qin Chuan watched Jian Yiling leave. After that, he stood in the same place for quite some time.

Eventually, Qin Chuan's driver carefully asked Qin Chuan for his plans. 

Upon hearing this, Qin Chuan got back into his car.

Back in the Qin Residence, Mo Shiyun had been waiting for a long time.

She knew that everything that happened recently was because of Jian Yiling.

However, she had to continue pretending that she didn't know anything.

She was content as long as Qin Chuan didn't kick her out of the house. She was content as long as he still came back home every day.

When Qin Chuan returned to the Qin Residence, he saw Qin Yufan prepare to go outside. Qin Chuan asked: "Where are you going so late at night?"

In the past few weeks, Qin Yufan had started frequenting bars again.

In the past, she used to go to the bar at night when she had a fight with Qin Hongzhi.

Qin Yufan stopped and smiled sarcastically, "Why does this matter to you Mr. Qin? I, Qin Yufan, don't have a brother who would take revenge on someone who helped him in the past!"

"You want to give the shares of the Qin family to Zhai Yunsheng?" Qin Chuan questioned. He already guessed Qin Yufan's intentions. 

Qin Yufan did not deny this: "So what if I do? You stole something from someone who helped you in the past. Why shouldn't I give it back? Did Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling ever do something bad to you? And even if you like Yiling, you have no right to do this!"

Upon hearing these words and seeing the angry expression on Qin Yufan's face, Qin Chuan's face darkened again.
