"Why would your great-grandma lie to you? Our Jian Dan is so good-looking. How could his brother possibly be ugly?"2

Upon hearing this, Jian Dan looked at his brother again. For some reason, in his eyes, his brother still looked incredibly ugly.

Jian Dan turned his face away and pounced towards Jian Yiling.

"Auntie, hug!"

"Your auntie has a baby inside her belly. She can't hug you. Let your uncles hug you," Grandma Jian said as she hurriedly gestured for the Jian brothers to hug Jian Dan. 

As Jian Dan's direct uncle, Jian Yujie fulfilled his responsibilities and picked up Jian Dan.

But even though Jian Dan was in Jian Yujie's arms, his eyes were fixated on Jian Yiling.

Unlike everyone else, Zhai Yunsheng had a frown on his face.

When he saw an opportunity, he pulled Jian Yunmo into the corridor.

"When Yiling gives birth, let's just go the c-section route," Zhai Yunsheng said seriously. The look on his face was solemn and his brows were knitted together. Worry and anxiousness plagued his handsome face.

"Are you afraid she'll have a difficult delivery?" Jian Yunmo asked.

"Yeah," Zhai Yunsheng replied. He did not deny this. "Yiling has a small frame. Even though there's still two months before her due date, her belly is already scarily big."

A belly of that size would look normal on an average pregnant woman. However, it looked scarily big on Jian Yiling's body.

Typically, pregnant women would gain a bit of weight and fat in other areas of their bodies. However, only Jian Yiling's belly grew in size. 

Thus, Zhai Yunsheng would feel nervous whenever he looked at Jian Yiling. 

Jian Yunmo carefully savored the expression on Zhai Yunsheng's face before he said: "Don't worry. She'll be fine. She's been under the supervision of Lahaisen Hospital's most advanced medical technology ever since she knew she was pregnant. If something happens to her, very few women in this world would be able to deliver their children safely." 

"Are you sure?" Zhai Yunsheng asked again.

"I'm very sure."

Upon receiving this answer, Zhai Yunsheng nodded and said thank you. Then, he headed back to Luo Xiuen's ward.

When Jian Yiling saw Zhai Yunsheng return, she asked him: "What were you doing with Brother Yunmo?" 

"I just asked him a few things," Zhai Yunsheng replied as his right hand gently touched the top of Jian Yiling's stomach.

A smile appeared on Jian Yiling's face as she looked down at her belly: "Our baby has been so well behaved."

"I hope he or she will be well behaved until he or she is born. I don't want you to suffer."

Zhai Yunsheng didn't mind if the baby made a ruckus after he or she was born. However, he wanted the baby to behave inside Jian Yiling's belly.

Master Zhai came to congratulate Luo Xiuen. As he was visiting, he brought along a bunch of gifts as well.

Master Zhai looked at the newborn baby inside the crib before he turned to look at Jian Dan.

The two of them were absolutely adorable. 

"Ahh… How can they be so cute."

The genes of the Jian family were amazing. They managed to have two children in a span of three years.

Upon hearing this, Grandpa Jian happily said: "Hey, these two are from my family. Your one is inside my precious granddaughter's belly!"

"Well, my great-grandchild isn't born yet. Can't I look at yours for the time being?"

Why was Grandpa Jian so stingy? After all, he couldn't stare at his granddaughter-in-law's belly all day, could he?

If someone didn't know better, they'd assume he was a psychopath or something!

"Soon, soon… It's only a matter of two months," Grandpa Jian replied. 

Upon hearing this, Master Zhai deliberately said: "Well, Yiling might give birth to a baby girl. The Jian family doesn't have a great-granddaughter yet."
