Jian Yiling informed Long Yuetian what Zhai Yunsheng said to her.

As Zhai Zhongshen was standing next to Long Yuetian, he said to Jian Yiling: "Don't worry Yiling. Just take care of yourself. I will manage the situation here."

This meant he promised to protect Long Yuetian.

"Thank you, Uncle Zhai," Jian Yiling replied meekly.

As she said this, her son waved his chubby arms. Little Zeze was super adorable.

As Zhai Zhongshen looked at his grandson, the look on his face softened a lot.

"Just take care of yourself and your baby. Don't worry about what's happening here. I will manage the situation," Zhai Zhongshen repeated.

Then, Zhai Yunsheng came over and said: "Uncle, we still have things to do. We will head off for now."

After saying this, he helped Jian Yiling hang up the call.

Long Yuetian's hospital ward suddenly returned to silence.

It was so quiet that Long Yuetian could almost hear Zhai Zhongshen's breathing.

As Long Yuetian recalled Jian Yiling's words, she realized she would be spending a lot of time with Zhai Zhongshen in the coming days. This made her feel somewhat uneasy.

"You said you would marry me when you were a child."

Long Yuetian did not recall saying such a thing.

However, Zhai Zhongshen did not explain the matter. Instead, he told Long Yuetian to get some rest as she was probably incredibly tired after the series of events today.
