Li Tongzhi snorted guiltily before she headed downstairs. She was afraid Mu Siyin would bring up the issue about the spycam.

Mu Siyin smirked. She knew that Li Tongzhi was undoubtedly the culprit here.

After the lock was changed, Mu Siyin checked the time again. It was then that she got dressed, applied some make-up, and headed out in peace.

The meeting with Lu Jingchen and President Zhang was rather early, at 6:30 pm.

Lu Jingchen was already waiting at the club, so when Mu Siyin arrived on time, he let out a sigh of relief. "You're reliable for once."

Mu Siyin studied her cousin, who was drinking a glass of liquor alone. "What do you mean by 'for once'? I merely missed your meeting at noon."

Lu Jingchen raised his eyebrows. "I don't understand you. Why are you so courteous towards Shi Beiyu when both of you are already together? Why don't you just ask him?"

Mu Siyin rolled her eyes. "Cuz, can't you let me enjoy a relationship? I don't want to get money and personal interests involved."

Lu Jingchen gave in. "Okay, okay. You can pretend I didn't say anything. Enjoy your relationship and don't spend a single cent of Shi Beiyu's money."

Mu Siyin sighed. "What's now is now. We can talk about what comes later in the future…"

Lu Jingchen tutted and shook his head. "Sis, it's rare to find a kind-hearted and pure girl like you these days."

Mu Siyin was speechless.

They chatted for some time, but President Zhang still had not shown up. Finding it strange, Lu Jingchen mumbled as he fiddled with his phone, "President Zhang has always been punctual. It's so late already and he still isn't here."

Soon, the call went through. "President Zhang, my cousin and I are waiting for you. Are you here yet?"
