Move In With Me If You Like It Here

Shi Beiyu's heart skipped a beat when Mu Siyin's delicate body dived into his arms.1

With her hands wrapped tightly around his body, Shi Beiyu could not help but caress her hair. He asked in a tender voice, "What's going on?"

His instincts told him that something was up with her today.

Mu Siyin pulled Shi Beiyu into a tight embrace and indulged in the warmth of his body. Eventually, the steadiness of his heartbeat managed to calm her down. 

"I told you that I missed you," she murmured in his arms.

His hug was comfortable and full of warmth, which reminded her of her mother. 

Shi Beiyu's eyes glistened, and his heart beat faster.

"It's hot out here. Let's get into the car." He caressed her head, only to realize that she was sweating from all the heat.

Mu Siyin smiled as she looked up. "Okay."

However, as they were both walking to Shi Beiyu's car, they did not notice that there was a girl on the other side of the parterre taking pictures of them with anger in her eyes.

Shi Beiyu guided Mu Siyin to the passenger seat of the car and helped buckle her seatbelt. After making sure it was intact, he walked to the driver's seat and got into the car.

He did not start the engine after buckling his own seat belt. Instead, he looked at Mu Siyin. "What happened? Tell me everything."

Shi Beiyu refused to believe that she wanted to see him because she missed him. There must be something else.

Mu Siyin would never squat by the roadside in this hot weather. 

On the other hand, Mu Siyin looked devastated. It was never her intention to drag Beiyu into her mess, but he was the only solution to her problems.

The more she thought about it, the more conflicted she felt. 

As if he had seen through her. Shi Beiyu said, "Take your time. You can always talk to me after that."

Upon saying so, he started the car and drove away.

After some time, Mu Siyin finally mustered her courage to ask for his help. Just as she was about to speak, she noticed the signboard by the road. She blinked her eyes in confusion and asked, "Where are we going?"

Shi Beiyu smirked. "You'll know when we get there."

Mu Siyin swallowed the dissatisfaction in her heart. She was not in a mood to play detective.

He was obviously bringing her back to his house.

After all, she had lived there for two years in her past life.

Twenty minutes later, the car drove into the most luxurious villa in the East side of the capital. 

The land value here was crazy, and there were a limited number of houses here. In fact, it was so extravagant that even a company like Mu Corporation could not afford it. 

As he drove up to house number eight, a tall black gate slid open automatically before Shi Beiyu drove into the lawn. Almost immediately, two bodyguards dressed in black walked up to his car.

Once Shi Beiyu got down the car, he held Mu Siyin's hand and turned to the dumbfounded bodyguards, whom he ordered, "Take it off my driveway," 

It was then the duo snapped back to their senses and lowered their heads, still stunned. "Yes sir!"

Mu Siyin glanced at the high-end villa in surprise. "Is this where you live?"

Shi Beiyu nodded his head. "Do you like it?"

Mu Siyin slowly scanned her eyes through the familiar surroundings. She let out a smile as she walked towards a bush of pink roses. "Yeah."

In her past life, she used to think of the lawn as a cage. As such, she had never truly enjoyed the exquisites of its beauty. Now that she looked at it again, she finally realized how gorgeous and refined the villa was. 

Mu Siyin's smile was so bright that it could blind Shi Beiyu's eyes. Looking at her, he instantly thought of a poem that he knew, 'a lady prettier than the prettiest of flowers.'

Even the blossoming flowers paled in comparison to Mu Siyin. 

He slowly walked forwards and gently pulled her into his arms. "Move in with me if you like it here."

Mu Siyin was shocked to hear those words that she instantly tore free from his clutches. She looked at him and snorted. "Don't try to tempt me."
