"Have you signed the agreement?"

"What happened?"

Mu Siyin did not want him to worry, so she let out a soft chuckle instead. "It's nothing. There were some problems with the agreement which needed some amendments."

Shi Beiyu was not amused by her reply. "Don't hide anything from me."

Mu Siyin did not think it would be so hard to fool Shi Beiyu. After pondering for a bit, she said reluctantly, "They hid something in the agreement, and I caught it."

The other end of the phone turned dead silent. Just as Mu Siyin checked if something was wrong with the signal, Shi Beiyu said coldly, "Why must you save Mu Corporation?"

Others may not know that the Mu family mistreated Mu Siyin, but Shi Beiyu knew everything.

Those animals were not qualified to be her family. 

Despite all that, Mu Siyin still did not want to ruin their reputation. Nobody should know how the Mu family treated her, her deceased mother, and sister. Not even Shi Beiyu.

"My mother helped build Mu Corporation too. I don't want to see it go down this way."
