And since I won't have much time on my hands, I will only be guiding on research direction. This way I can focus on multiple projects and not neglect the administrative duties at the same time."

Taylor and Quill nodded. Here Quill nodded and spoke, "I will arrange the work and research institute accordingly so that we can use your time efficiently."

John nodded as he looked at the letter once again with a smile and spoke, "And how do we want to deal with his proposal of Dolores being the medium of trade between Aelius and Sky? This may seem like a delicious proposal to us currently but it can become deadly in long term. And it seems that the Greenwoods Village deal will also be signed over this contract officially or else it will always remain under dispute even if we maintain the status quo i.e occupation over Greenwoods Village. So it will become quite complicated."

Taylor was a bit confused as he heard John and thought,  'Whether it is trade or services. I don't think they have an edge over us. Maybe in the long term, they may get an edge over us but will it be that serious?' 

Quill meanwhile understood and spoke, "Yes, this deal is like a slow poison intended to paralyze us in long term but there is also a threat. They will most likely try to Spy via merchants when they give big orders to our companies but at the same time, they will reduce orders for other countries mostly the ones bordering us so that they can slowly build resentment."

"In addition, they may try to reduce costs via their slave labor slowly and then grab the industries when they have enough technologies to compete with our companies. But there is 1 problem, they don't have the infrastructure, social structure and Laws to improve the efficiency and quality of their populace. So most likely their best shot is bribery for companies that are on the brink of bankruptcy and no way out. But if they have a plan to improve the education standards then things may change. Most likely Plato concocted this plan to num and slowly get back on track. but there is 1 flaw, is he sure that Aelius will remain single in the future? It may very well get segregated if the conflict among Princes increases and there is Radiant Church, their foundational roots are in Aelius and they can very well endure for a long time."

John agreed with Quill and spoke with a smile, "Yes, this deal is a double-edged sword for them. The same tactics can be used against them, no more crude tactics if push comes to the shove. This deal of his might have worked against others but not against us. Ok, we will accept his conditions to numb him instead and make him feel that he is successfully plotting against us but this might very well be good for us if our bordering countries try to invade again as we will have the legitimacy and people's support to occupy them. I reckon this pot will slowly boil for about 5-10 years but it will most likely collapse due to internal struggle is my guess but anything can happen so we can't just rely on foresight, we have to work hard for our interests, lax behavior will always be the poison for country and populace. Of course, for their invasion to go the path we create, we will have to hide the capabilities of our Military Industrial Complex and weave a fine net for them to take the bait. Next time, they won't get easily baited like in the current war where everyone wanted a piece of Ballista and had gone bonkers. But unlike this time, we will gulp all of them down in 1 go." 

Both Quill and Taylor had surprised expressions when they heard of the future plans as they both agreed as a decision was already made.

Quill thought as he heard John's decision, 'I guess this plan is related to the research facilities which are being built under Tornwall's supervision. As far as I know, Tornwall has only taken the best and the most loyal engineers with him in this base. I guess the project will be divided into multiple parts so that most don't know about the direction of the research even if they have high loyalty and hence most won't know about the critical aspect of the project. Anyway, I guess this time as well we will make a big move when we do move against our adversaries. I just hope that they don't back out. I guess knowing Plato's nature, he will become skeptical if we agree immediately so we will have to try to do it in a roundabout way and hence we have to grab more resources as Lord said Previously.'

Quill nodded and spoke, "Okay, I will prepare for the negotiations immediately. I will also send our researchers to survey the places that can give us the most returns. Knowing Plato he will become suspicious if we agree immediately so we will try to delay and give concessions step by step when he agrees on some of our small conditions which he won't doubt."

Taylor too agreed and spoke, "Yes, we can agree to their requests and put Hector's matter on the back burner since Lionheart is hellbent on changing Hector's image to keep the status quo among the princes. I will tell Glenn to tone down on Hector and focus on other important matters. This time Prince Charlie's actions surprised me the most so I hope we can keep an eye on Prince Charlie as he seems like someone who will steal the thunder at the right time so we must be careful. As far as Prince Hector is concerned he is just a prodigal good for nothing. He may have improved after this ordeal but base thinking remains the same. According to our spies, they have observed that once his advisor Alistair is not by his side he will start making mistakes. So he is not worth the resources for now."

John agreed and spoke, "Ok, we will move ahead as we discussed. Quill, you can start, if you need any maneuvers in this deal then you can request the parliament which can then take separate decisions totally based on the interests of Sky."
