Reva relaxed as she felt reassured by her words, thinking that she was overthinking too much. She knew Damien was a responsible man, and even if he was young, he was way more mature for his age, even more than her.

Damien pulled her back slightly to look at her face and lifted her lowered face up by her chin to see her otherworldly countenance, which seemed even more dreamy because of the faint redness in her cheeks and her glimmering azure eyes.

"You still look so beautiful like a fairy from the heavens, and I am quite lucky to have you for myself," Damien said with a charming smile, making even the cold-faced Reva smile abashedly as she evaded his gaze while feeling better than before.

"Don't tease me like that…You already said those embarrassing words about taking me away before the entire imperial army and well…him," Reva couldn't help but feel her face heat up again just thinking about Damien domineeringly declaring her as his woman looking down on Ruthren. It made her feel on top of the world, especially when seeing how Ruthren could only helplessly listen to Damien's words.

Still, she couldn't help but feel a great sense of happiness and bliss, "I am sorry…I didn't mean to become angry at you…especially when we all got saved, including my grandmother mostly due to your help," Reva said, feeling guilty for getting angry at Damien before without thinking straight.

She felt that the injuries in her soul plane were preventing her from thinking straight.

"We all saved each other…If it not for you helping me out in that cave, Yohr would have devoured me before I could even do anything," Damien said with a sigh, still feeling a sense of dread just by thinking about it.

Reva silently smiled as she looked up at his face and caressed his cheeks while enjoying the warmth of his embrace. She didn't know why he was increasingly becoming more charming and handsome in her eyes to the point she couldn't take her eyes off him.

His firm, manly lips seemed inviting and warm as she caressed it with her fingers and slowly leaned her face towards him as she tiptoed. But before she knew it, her eyes were becoming blurry as her senses began to dull, and the next moment she fell unconscious over his chest.

Damien, who was expecting to kiss her, was taken aback when she suddenly fell unconscious. But then he relaxed as he sensed that her soul plane was busy absorbing the essence inside her and needed some rest.

Still thinking about how he was about to kiss her, he couldn't help but mumble, "That was awkward…"
